 Photocopying onto large sized paper is not acceptable to the vast majority of people who require large print. Information can become too unwieldy and difficult to handle and it can send out a poor message regarding quality and customer service.
VST recommends the use of modified large print as the most user-friendly format. Original text is transcribed and reformatted without destroying the original context or content of the document.
We use a standard font size of 20 points in order to meet the needs of as many users as possible. However, VST are flexible enough to be able to meet specific requests if a larger font is required.
VST recommends and uses a simple, clear and legible Sans Serif style font such as Arial or Verdana.
We also ensure that there is a high amount of contrast to make writing more legible. We use state of the art laser printing technology onto clear crisp white paper, although other paper mediums and colours can be used.
